It's time for us to take action against Vietnam! The agreement between Vietnam and the United States clearly harms our interests! On July 3, an American media outlet openly stated that the US-Vietnam tariff agreement would reduce tariffs on Vietnamese goods to 20%, but impose a high 40% tariff on goods transshipped to the US. This indicates that targeting cargo transshipment - especially goods originating from China - is a top priority in the US negotiations with Vietnam.

Now, Vietnam has agreed to this condition of the US, which is a huge blow to our companies that have invested in Vietnam, whose raw materials and components come from our domestic manufacturers. In fact, the compromise of Vietnam has already shown negative effects on us. Taking the wood industry as an example, the high tariffs imposed by the US on Vietnamese wood products will cause the orders of Vietnamese processing plants to drop by an estimated 30%-40%. The export volume of Chinese raw sawn timber to Vietnam has already decreased by 19%, and the share of Chinese hardware in the Vietnamese market has dropped sharply from 58% to 44%, showing a clear trend of order shrinkage.

Moreover, Vietnam's actions have a very bad exemplary effect. That is, if Vietnam cooperates with the US like this, other countries are also likely to follow suit. If this happens, the impact on us will be even greater. Previously, we had already made it clear that any country that reaches an agreement with the US must not harm our interests. Now that Vietnam has taken the lead, it's time for us to take action against Vietnam.
