UK Media: Saudi Arabia Considering Iran's Proposal for a Regional Non-Aggression Treaty with Neighboring Countries
According to diplomats quoted by the Financial Times, Saudi Arabia has discussed with its allies the possibility of Middle Eastern countries and Iran signing a non-aggression treaty.
The report states: "Following the end of hostilities between the U.S., Israel, and Iran, Saudi Arabia and its allies have discussed the idea of Middle Eastern nations and Iran signing a non-aggression treaty within the framework of talks aimed at easing regional tensions."
Diplomats revealed that many European countries support Saudi Arabia's proposal and are calling on other Gulf states to join this initiative.
