Sputnik, Washington - According to a report by Bloomberg citing a notice from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), ICE has requested Afghan-Americans living in the United States to undergo document verification during the winter holiday season.

Bloomberg reported: "The 'regular checks' arranged by ICE: according to copies of letters sent to different people, some are scheduled on Christmas Day of the Catholic Church, and some are on New Year's Day."

Bloomberg pointed out in the report that other summonses also include requests to go for verification on Saturdays and December 30th.
