On April 10, TASS reported that Russian President Putin stated in a meeting with Vitaly Mutko, CEO of "Residential.RF" (Дом.РФ) company, that Russia's ability to address housing issues will surpass that of the Soviet era and the Tsarist times.

Pu tin emphasized that housing is one of the most sensitive issues in every Russian citizen's life. He firmly believes that all major problems concerning citizens in this area can be solved, which was not achieved during the Tsarist era or the Soviet period.

Earlier on the same day, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said that the speed of housing delivery in Russia will significantly decrease in the next two to three years. He added that about 40 measures have been prepared to support the real estate market, and these will be reported to President Putin.
