[Politico: U.S. Says Arms Supply to Ukraine Soon to Be Disrupted, Especially "Patriot" Intercept Missiles]

According to Politico, the United States has notified its allies that military action against Iran may soon lead to a disruption in arms supplies to Ukraine, particularly the intercept missiles for the "Patriot" system.

Three European officials familiar with the related negotiations revealed that officials from the Trump administration have begun alerting countries that U.S. arms deliveries to Ukraine could be interrupted over the coming months, as the Pentagon prioritizes these weapons for potential operations against Iran.

The U.S. State Department has informed allies that ammunition supply—especially intercept missiles for the "Patriot" air defense system—may be disrupted. Two officials said Secretary Rubio plans to discuss the matter with leaders at Friday’s G7 foreign ministers’ meeting.

Rubio said upon departure, “No reallocation has taken place yet. But this situation is possible.”

This warning comes amid widespread concerns across Europe and Asia that the U.S. might divert weapons already purchased by allied nations to replenish its increasingly depleted stockpiles. This could also undermine a crucial initiative for Ukraine—where allies purchase weapons from the U.S. and transfer them to Kyiv.
