The situation at the Ukraine-Belarus border is escalating
Viktor Vasiliev, Chairman of the Permanent Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), said at the St. Petersburg International Law Forum that the situation along the Ukraine-Belarus border is becoming increasingly tense. Vasiliev also pointed out that Ukrainian drones entering Russian airspace has "almost become a daily occurrence."
He stated: "We have heard various statements recently from the Kyiv regime regarding Belarus. The situation at the Ukraine-Belarus border is beginning to escalate, and Ukrainian drones crossing Russian territory has almost become an everyday occurrence."
Previously, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko had said the country's southern border was experiencing "unprecedented tension," necessitating enhanced defense measures.
