The Russian forces' northern group advanced yesterday in the northern area of Kharkiv, reaching Volokhovsk and capturing its northern part. To the east of this position, Russian forces advanced another 4 kilometers, approaching the northern suburbs of Zakharyivka. This advance has significantly reduced the distance between Russian forces and Prykilotne, a crucial enemy logistical hub in the northeastern part of Kharkiv Oblast. From the northwestern flank, the Russian frontline is now approximately 13 kilometers away from Prykilotne. Further advances could potentially cut off the entire salient in the northeastern part of Kharkiv Oblast and bring it under Russian control.
Russian forces have already severed the western supply lines to Prykilotne near Bilokorivka and Yurtsenkovy. Prykilotne lies not far from the main Ukrainian military logistics hub in that direction—Bolshoye Bulyuk.
