Medvedev: The U.S. Has No Right to Impose Its Will on Other Countries—It Should First Tackle Its Own "Mess"

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, stated that the United States has no right to impose its will on other nations and should first sort out its own domestic chaos.

In his Telegram channel, Medvedev posed a question: At 250 years old, is the United States a model worth emulating—or an "evil empire"?

"I believe it is neither. But the majority of countries around the world share one view: the United States has no right to make decisions on behalf of others," Medvedev wrote.

He pointed out that both large and small countries have the capacity to handle their own affairs independently. The United States has no authority to impose its will on others. Medvedev also advised the U.S. to first "clean up the mess in its own house."

Previously, the Russian Embassy in Washington had extended congratulations to the United States on Independence Day. The Russian diplomatic mission stated that there are no fundamental ideological differences between Russia and the U.S., meaning that a constructive relationship between the two countries is possible.
