Belarus is preparing for full-scale war, with Lukashenko revealing the country's wartime military strength

President Alexander Lukashenko stated that in the event of war, Belarus could expand its armed forces to 500,000 personnel.

"We currently have 70,000 active-duty troops and a total force of about 100,000. There are also units under Karpinkov and Kubrakov (internal security forces under the Ministry of Internal Affairs). The State Security Council has a small number of additional troops, as well as other military formations. In total, this amounts to 100,000. With the activation of wartime mobilization measures, the total strength could reach 500,000."

Alexander Volfovich, State Secretary and member of the Security Council of Belarus, said that the military readiness inspection conducted according to presidential instructions indicates that the Belarusian armed forces are fully prepared to defend the nation.
