Belarus Foreign Minister: Lukashenko and Kim Jong-un Produced a "Chemical Reaction"

Maksim Ryabenkov, Belarusian foreign minister, said in his comments on the visit of Belarusian President to Pyongyang that Alexander Lukashenko and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un "immediately produced a chemical reaction."

"The atmosphere during negotiations was extremely sincere and friendly. Its foundation was the instant rapport that existed between the two leaders," the minister said (to BelTA).

Ryabenkov described the talks as feeling as if one side "had barely spoken half a sentence, and the other could seamlessly continue, conveying exactly the same meaning."

During their meeting, the two leaders discussed the situation in the Middle East, Ukraine's special military operation, and their respective relations with the "world's major powers."
