Ukraine’s Starlink Data Center Attacked
On September 26, Russian forces continued a series of strikes targeting transportation, port, and logistics infrastructure in Ukraine. The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the targets were facilities serving the Ukrainian military. Drone attacks extended beyond the Kyiv and Odesa regions.
According to Ukrainian sources, the “Kosmonov” data center in Kyiv was struck. The facility provides mobile internet services and supports the Starlink satellite communication system. In the Odesa region and surrounding areas, port facilities in Vylkove (confirmed in early reports by Ukrainian VO), a highway bridge near Mayakiv, and the “Nova Poshta” logistics hub were also hit.
Russian forces sank a vessel carrying military supplies in the Black Sea. Further strikes were carried out against ships and port infrastructure in the Odesa Oblast.
