Mongolia News Agency, Ulaanbaatar, August 5th, according to the company's key performance indicators for the first half of 2025, through 20 electronic transactions, 1.3 million tons of coal were sold, achieving sales revenue of 2.5 trillion Tugrik, a net profit of 1.1 trillion Tugrik, and paying 742.2 billion Tugrik in taxes to the state budget, making a significant contribution to ensuring economic growth and increasing foreign exchange reserves.

In the first half of this year, the coal mining volume was 13.8 million tons, and the export volume was 10.2 million tons.

Since February 2023, Erdensutai Tovkh Company has only conducted coal transactions through the Mongolian Stock Exchange in an open and transparent manner, following the exchange and cross-border terms.

Implementing the policy of coal border sales and increasing foreign currency inflows, since the beginning of the year, the exchange has organized 135 coal transactions, with a total of 26.3 million tons of coal traded at increased prices.
