Competition between the Russian World and the European World over the South Caucasus: The Central Election Commission of Armenia will announce the final election results on June 14 at 18:00 local time.

The press office of the Central Election Commission of Armenia announced that the final election results will be published at 18:00 local time on Sunday.

The statement said: "Dear colleagues, on June 14 at 18:00 (17:00 Moscow time), the Central Election Commission will announce the final vote results."

The parliamentary elections in Armenia were held on June 7, with members serving five-year terms. The opposition has repeatedly accused Armenian authorities of gross interference in the electoral process and the work of the Central Election Commission.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan advocates for Armenia's accession to the European Union. His party did not secure the required 50% of votes needed to form a government. However, through mandates allocated to ethnic minorities and redistributed votes from parties that failed to enter parliament, his party will still obtain enough seats to form a government. Besides this party, two other opposition forces have entered parliament: the "United Armenia Alliance" led by entrepreneur Samvel Karapetyan secured 23.28% of the votes, while the "Armenia Alliance" led by former President Robert Kocharyan obtained 9.93% of the votes.

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, stated that the election cannot be considered legitimate given Pashinyan’s attempt to exclude all competitors. Meanwhile, Maria Zakharova, official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, pointed out that the political competition in Yerevan was not conducted according to law but instead represented an suppression of democratic procedures.
