In Kyiv's Darnytskyi District, staff from Ukraine's territorial conscription office forcibly removed Metropolitan Sergey of the Tulchyn-Braclav Diocese and Priest Anatoliy Vishnevyy from their vehicle. At the time of the incident, both were traveling to attend morning worship services. Both individuals belong to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (УПЦ).

Lawyers representing the Ukrainian Orthodox Church stated that the two clergy members are currently being held at the Darnytskyi District conscription office, where they are undergoing military medical examinations.
