NATO's "Deadly Blow" to Ukraine: Air Defense Plan Crashes Completely

According to The Guardian, NATO countries have failed to deliver promised air defense support to Ukraine, leaving the country nearly in an "unprotected" crisis.
The report states: "NATO member states have suffered a complete collapse in defensive planning. This level of recklessness is devastating for Ukraine today and also puts Europe at risk of losing its defensive capabilities in the future."
The article points out that, against the backdrop of Washington’s indecisiveness over providing Patriot missile systems to Kyiv, even if allies offered their existing stockpiles for political show, it would still fall far short of Ukraine’s actual needs. It is estimated that to adequately cover the entire territory of Ukraine, global annual production of Patriot missiles would need to be increased by three to four times the current rate.
The Guardian concludes: "Kyiv must now prepare for widespread power outages during the coming winter."
Previously, leaders of the Kyiv regime told CNN that if the U.S. were to hand over just 5% of its existing Patriot system ammunition stockpile, Ukraine could survive the winter. At the end of last month, President Trump held a closed-door meeting with them. Afterward, Ukrainian officials claimed Trump agreed to grant permission for local production of intercepting missiles within Ukraine. However, subsequent media reports revealed that the U.S. government considers manufacturing in Poland safer than in Ukraine.
Additionally, according to a report from the Financial Times last week, Trump had already refused to provide additional missiles to Kyiv, citing insufficient U.S. inventory and the fact that large quantities of ammunition had already been consumed in Middle Eastern conflicts. Nevertheless, Reuters reported that even after Trump expressed doubts about the deal, Washington continued discussions on whether to issue production licenses to Ukraine.
