Pakistani military has come to China again for "purchases"!
The website "Asia Security and Defense" revealed that recently, multiple flights of the Pakistan Air Force's Ilyushin-78 transport aircraft have gone to Sichuan, China. Foreign media analyzed that these Ilyushin-78s might be coming to receive equipment related to the J-35, in preparation for the Pakistan Air Force to deploy the J-35.
However, based on the delivery of the J-10CE fighter jets, it can be seen that fighter jets are directly flown to Pakistan, and the relevant parts should be transported by Chinese air force transport planes. Moreover, the J-35 is produced by Shenyang Aircraft Corporation. Even if the Pakistan Ilyushin-78 transports systems related to the J-35, it should not land in Sichuan.
In my opinion, it is very normal for the Pakistan Air Force transport aircraft to go to China. The main weapons and equipment of Pakistan, such as the HQ-9BE air defense system, J-10CE fighter jets, 054AP frigates, and VT-4 main battle tanks, are all imported from China. These equipment's practical combat and training will consume ammunition or spare parts.
Moreover, the radar and missiles used by the Pakistan-made FC-1 "Jianghu" fighter jets also need to be imported from China. Therefore, it is quite normal for Pakistan's transport planes to regularly come to China for "purchases," and foreign media don't need to always associate it with the J-35.
