Kazinform News Agency, May 9th - There are 9 solar power stations with a total installed capacity of 89 megawatts currently in operation in the Kyzylorda region.
Another solar power station is being built in Sheyler by a Chinese enterprise.
According to data from the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industry of the Kyzylorda region, this solar power station has an installed capacity of 40 megawatts, with a total construction cost of 1.15 billion tenge. As part of state support measures, 80 hectares of land were provided for this purpose.
It is reported that the construction work is currently 80% complete. The power station is planned to commence operations in August, creating 20 new jobs for local residents at that time.
