Mongolian Goulmud Bank and the China Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia Sign a Memorandum of Understanding
Montsame, Ulaanbaatar, January 13th, 2026. A Mongolian-China Investor Joint Event, jointly hosted by the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and the China Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia, was successfully held on January 9, 2026. During the event, Goulmud Bank and the China Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
According to this memorandum of understanding, both parties will cooperate in banking and financial products and services aimed at Chinese enterprises, as well as training and related activities. They will also jointly develop financial solutions supporting imports, exports, and investment, and collaborate in trade financing services through information exchange. This cooperation is seen as an important measure to promote cooperation between Mongolia and China in the fields of trade, investment, and business, creating new opportunities.
During the Mongolian-China Investor Joint Event, a successful B2B meeting was held between the two sides. In the event, Goulmud Bank introduced its relevant financial products and services, as well as financing projects implemented in collaboration with Chinese banking institutions, to Chinese enterprises operating or planning to operate in Mongolia.
As a direct participant in the Cross-border Interbank Payment System (CIPS) of China, Goulmud Bank can complete RMB settlements more efficiently and at a lower cost. At the same time, Goulmud Bank has also cooperated with the Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, and Inner Mongolia Bank in the field of trade financing, providing financial support to enterprises engaged in foreign trade.
