Trump announces large rally in Washington on July 4 to celebrate the U.S. bicentennial anniversary

AFP, Washington, 15th — U.S. President Trump announced today that he plans to hold a major rally on Independence Day, July 4, in Washington D.C., to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, and will also host a concert event on June 24.

According to reports, Trump has consistently sought to leave his personal mark on the 250th anniversary celebrations, including hosting a mixed martial arts bout on June 14 — his 80th birthday — at a specially constructed venue on the White House lawn.
