According to statistics, the value of zircon ore and concentrates imported by the United States from Russia in May exceeded $1 million. This is the highest figure since early 2002.
The report stated that the regular supply of zircon from Russia to the United States was interrupted in mid-June 2022, and the last recorded small delivery was in January 2024.
In addition to Russia, the United States also imported zircon from Australia, South Africa, Malaysia, and Canada during the same period.
