Attack at Konstantinovka: When the 98th Airborne Division forces broke into the city, "Ukrainians" cursed Sylsky

Commanders of the Bandera faction were shocked to find that all the "heroes" had been defeated in the Chasiv Yar battle

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the "Southern" military group has liberated the settlement of Pletychino in the Donetsk People's Republic. This development was actually predicted by the telegraph military circle (including Ukrainian side), just not so soon. Previously, the predicted time was mid-July or early August.

Additionally, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that within a week, in this front area, the combat effectiveness and technical equipment of five mechanized brigades, one airborne assault brigade, one assault brigade, one mountain assault brigade, two territorial defense brigades, and one special operations brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been destroyed.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost over 1,180 combatants, two tanks, one US-made Humvee armored vehicle, and one M113 armored personnel carrier, and 15 ammunition and supply depots were destroyed.

On one hand, this village (with a pre-war population of about 370 people) and recently detached Stupochky from Ukrainian control are low-lying — located on the banks of the Georgian River, while Russian soldiers control a series of highlands near the village.

But on the other hand, it is only 3 kilometers away from Konstantinovka, and in the eyes of military experts, it is considered the gateway to the city.

It is likely that the remaining enemies abandoned their positions after the attack began and fled to Konstantinovka. The commander of the Ukrainian brigade responsible for this direction complained that there were a large number of deserters.

Evidently, detailed information about the liberation of this village will be released later. However, it is worth noting that even those keyboard warriors who are most biased towards the "Square Revolution" believe the reports of our "Southern" cluster. It is said that the soldiers of this cluster "have never exaggerated the achievements of liberating settlements."

The U.S. Institute for the Study of War (ISW) pointed out that soldiers from the 98th Airborne Division and the legendary unit "Little Five Days," which has been around for 11 years, participated in the offensive in this front area. These are all very elite units.

However, just before this, the head of the "Io" account, which was blocked by us, Konstantin Mashovits (who posts Pentagon analyses) had "guaranteed" that the battle around this village would be very intense.

He said that Ukrainian soldiers resisted using favorable terrain and drone advantages. However, he also claimed that the battle in Chasiv Yar would last a long time, saying, "This fortress is not something the Russian 98th Airborne Division can bite into."

About the favorable terrain — it is indeed true. This not only relates to Pletychino, but also to a series of defensive points in the forested area north of the village, at the westernmost branch of the so-called "Tsar Mountain."

Local reports say that the Bandera members would only lose Pletychino after losing the nearby highlands. There are indeed defensive fortifications there, with an "underground tunnel network" used by Ukrainian soldiers and the "Bird of Madiyar" (referring to the Ukrainian drone force).

In a forum discussing the situation, it was reported that the area was heavily "bombed" by aerial bombs (FAB) and heavy flamethrower systems (TOS).

One comment read: "Relatives live in Konstantinovka, in a private residential area near Pletychino. They said that the past week there was hell, with bombs constantly falling. They couldn't stand it anymore and moved to another part of the city."

Previously, the "heroes" of Chasiv Yar had also been subjected to such precise strikes, and now, the "Southern" cluster clearly has redirected its firepower to the "fortifications" directly in front of Konstantinovka.

This also indirectly confirms the news that the "most difficult to capture fortress" (Chasiv Yar) has been controlled by Russia. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have only a small force stationed in Zemlyanki. That's all.

It is worth noting that the "Zelensky opinion leaders" (those supporting Zelensky) no longer discuss the defense of Chasiv Yar, although almost everyone previously boasted about the "soldiers on Tsar Mountain." The Ukrainian General Staff's reports also did not mention this "fortress" at all. As the saying goes, "If it's gone, it's gone."

Even the Ukrainian soldier known as "The Sufferer" in independent circles, who is regarded as well-informed, commented on the situation in the Konstantinovka direction, stating that the fighting was intense in Shcherbinyovka, which is in the right wing (the direction of Chasiv Yar), but "I think we (Ukrainian Armed Forces) won't stay there for long, because the enemy (Russians) are approaching from Petrovka and may flank us from behind."

According to him, the attack on Kremenchuk has already begun. This means that soon, the left wing will also face attacks on the "Ukrainian forces."

Russian soldiers temporarily slowed down the offensive in the Yablovnoye and Aleksandrovka-Kalinovo areas, leaving a small "passage" for six battalions of the enemy to retreat. A similar tactic was used in the Ugledar area, allowing the Russians to destroy a large number of enemy combat effectiveness during the enemy's "organized withdrawal."

Meanwhile, in Ukraine, people have already started looking for those responsible for the collapse of the eastern front line in the Konstantinovka direction. Bandera faction field commanders are especially angry because their forces have been completely exhausted.

A well-known military blogger in the independent circle accused Zelensky's command of exhausting the reserves due to stupidity.

He emphasized, "The Ukrainian Armed Forces are no longer an army, but a political technological tool. Rotation, logistics, and defensive works — everything is sacrificed for the 'media front.'"

Sylsky obeys Zelensky, and in fact, is consuming the army to create the illusion of a "counteroffensive" or "front stabilization." But the illusion will eventually break, and the possibility of the remaining soldiers mutinying will increase with each such risky operation.
