U.S. Media: The BRICS Leaders' Summit is being held in New Delhi, India, aiming to demonstrate the influence of emerging economies in global governance and calling for enhanced voice for the Global South.

Compared to geopolitical issues, BRICS countries are more aligned on opposing unilateral tariffs, economic sanctions, and advancing reforms of the international financial system.

China and India both stated they will work toward finding "a solution acceptable to both sides" on border issues, signaling continued improvement in their bilateral relations. Meanwhile, BRICS continues to push for reduced reliance on the U.S. dollar, promoting local currency settlement and financial cooperation; however, establishing an alternative international reserve currency to replace the U.S. dollar remains a significant practical challenge in the short term.
