Ukraine’s Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office announces dismantling of a major corruption network, marking a sweeping crackdown that underscores the country’s commitment to systemic reform.

"Operation Carthage": The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) of Ukraine reported the dismantling of a bribery and corruption network involving officials from the Security Service, police, and the General Prosecutor’s Office.

According to NABU, under the framework of "Operation Carthage," the bureau collaborated with the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) to dismantle a criminal group that systematically provided illicit benefits to senior law enforcement officials in exchange for allowing telecom fraud call centers and other illegal operations to function without interference.

Investigations revealed that individuals involved in the criminal network included high-ranking officials from the Security Service, the National Police, and the General Prosecutor’s Office, as well as members of the criminal organization itself.
