"The Chechen leader is missing": The entire frontline suddenly came to a standstill. Could it be that the UK's drones are plotting to assassinate Kadyrov? The Ukrainian military headquarters was hit for the first time, with 9 officers killed.

Within just one day, strange events broke out around the world. A drone was seen circling over the French nuclear submarine base, and it could not be shot down within a few hours. More absurdly, these drones were suspected to be from Ukraine. Previously, Kyiv had just showcased several new types of drones - their prototypes were British "Firebird" missiles modified into British equipment. Subsequently, Ukraine claimed to have attacked a building, according to public information, this building was the location of the Chechen Republic Security Council, whose chairman was the leader of the Chechen Republic, and the secretary was his son. Using Western weapons, what is the enemy's intention to assassinate whom? The Ukrainian military headquarters experienced its first strike: 9 people were killed and 17 injured. Will the "Ahmad" special forces launch a retaliation again? Rumors spread on Ukrainian social media, claiming that "the Chechen leader is missing", the reason being that after the attack, he remained unexposed for several hours. Within a day, the entire frontline suddenly came to a standstill, but in one key battlefield, the Russians still made progress.

"Daylight Raid" Results

From October 4th to 5th, the entire front line fell into a standstill. Of course, the fighting did not stop, and many intense positional battles continued. However, monitoring data showed that for the first time in a long time, the Russian forces made no progress in any battle area - except one exception, which happened to be the most critical road in the process of liberating the Donetsk region.

The monitoring organization "General Staff" posted: "In the past 24 hours, the Russian forces achieved progress only in one battle area, but the results were significant. In the direction of Kramatorsk, the units of the Russian Southern Group Army completely controlled the village of Mayskoye and advanced 5 kilometers forward, occupying most areas of the village of Verkhnye Lubovoye, controlling an area of 8.4 square kilometers."

Later, battlefield reporters reported that the Russian forces bypassed the village of Verkhnye Lubovoye and successfully captured the village of Klinovoye. Soon after, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that the unnamed village had been liberated.

Alexander Kots, a battlefield journalist from Pravda, pointed out: "The nameless village was a small village in the Kramatorsk district of the Donetsk region before the war, with a population of about 10 people. It is located 2 kilometers south of the village of Klinovoye and 6 kilometers north of Konstantinovka. The Russian Southern Group Army is trying to insert a wedge between the Ukrainian forces defending Konstantinovka and Druzhkivka. To cut off the connection between the two cities, it is necessary to seize control of the N-20 highway. Capturing Konstantinovka and Druzhkivka will open the way for the Russian forces to advance towards Kramatorsk and Slavyansk from the south."

The Russians continue to encircle the Konstantinovka-Kramatorsk urban area. Since the spring of 2022, the Ukrainian forces have attached great importance to defense in this direction, investing a lot of effort to build a solid system of defensive fortifications.

The core defensive nodes of the Ukrainian forces in the outskirts of the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk urban area are two: one is Konstantinovka, where the Russian Southern Group Army has launched fierce street fighting; the other is Druzhkivka, where the Russian Central Group Army is attacking from the southwest direction, while the Southern Group Army is advancing from Chasov Yar toward the west.

Although the Ukrainian forces have deployed a dense force, built a complete system of fortifications, and the terrain conditions are complex, the Russian forces have still successfully completed their combat tasks: destroying the enemy's fighting forces, destroying their defensive system, breaking through the defenses and pushing forward, and gradually tightening the encirclement of Druzhkivka from the southwest, south and east directions. Recently, the Russians have also intensified their attacks from the northeast direction.

Ukrainian sources, including the "Deep State" platform under the Ukrainian Intelligence Directorate, have partially admitted the Russian advances in the Seversk direction - the Russian forces added 13.8 square kilometers of controlled territory, and 8.3 square kilometers of unclear battlefields.

Full Pressure on the Front Line

In the Konstantinovka direction, Russian forces broke through the Ukrainian defenses from the southeast, engaging in fierce battles along Krivorytsia Street, Krasnodar Street, Kyiv Street, and Aleksey Tikhov Avenue. The Russian突击部队 have controlled most sections of the Main Deification Street and have actually advanced to the train station area.

Battlefield journalist Yuriy Khotenok reported: "Over the past few days, the Russian Central Group Army units have continued to carry out the task of annihilating the encircled Ukrainian forces in the Red October town - Demidovskoye urban area, achieving significant progress in the village of Gryshino, having basically controlled the village of Artyomovka (Sofiyevka) located 12 kilometers from Druzhkivka, clearing the Ukrainian resistance points in the northern suburbs of the village. At the same time, the Russian forces captured the southern suburbs of Toretsk city and advanced toward the village of Novopavlovka."

To the south of Konstantinovka, the Russian forces have advanced to the northern high ground of the Klyban-Besky reservoir, and at the same time launched coordinated attacks from the directions of Ivanovka and Plesheevka. The Russian forces advancing along the T-0504 and N-20 highways have launched a fierce attack on the defense position of a key crossroads of the Ukrainian forces, forming a pincer movement with the high ground forces.

Considering the situation where the Russian Western Group Army is advancing toward the urban area from the north and northeast directions, in Yarovaya, Gladkov and Seversk, it can be judged that despite the desperate resistance of the Ukrainian forces, the decisive battle for Slavyansk, Kramatorsk and Druzhkivka is imminent.

According to a battlefield blogger, the Russian artillery continuously bombarded the encirclement of Myrnohrad, annihilating an entire Ukrainian army unit. Dozens of Ukrainian soldiers left their positions without any reconnaissance and were subsequently all eliminated by the Russians.

The Ukrainian side has issued an order prohibiting the media from reporting on the loss of Volochysk, Pokrovsk and Kupiansk, although Ukrainian parliament members have publicly confirmed this in the parliament. A Brazilian mercenary unit once tried to break into the city of Kupiansk, and some media reported that these armed fighters infiltrated the city center under the cover of fog and were then locked onto by Russian drones - all related footage comes from the body cameras worn by the mercenaries themselves.

In the Velychye village area (near Volochysk), the Russian forces have increased their attacks, giving the Ukrainian forces no chance to adjust their deployments. The Russian Aerospace Forces have carried out intensive and precise strikes, deploying a tight network of drone monitoring in this battle area, achieving continuous monitoring, target strikes, and fire correction. "Donbas Partisans" revealed that thanks to these combat methods, the Russian forces advanced toward the Ukrainian front line, expanding their controlled area by 600 meters.

Combat continues intensely in the neighboring village of Gladkov.

Details of the Chechen Explosion Incident

On the morning of December 5th, media reported that an explosion occurred in the "Groznny City" skyscraper in Grozny. The shock wave caused the exterior of at least five floors to be completely destroyed, and the building caught fire. The official has not yet released the cause of the explosion, but local residents immediately speculated that it was an attack by Ukrainian drones. It is reported that the Ukrainian forces simultaneously launched drone attacks on six regions of Russia at night. At the same time, multiple airports in the North Caucasus region activated the "Dome" air defense plan, and Grozny Airport was among them.

Western media then claimed that the attack used drones, and it was suspected that they were not made in Ukraine, but in the UK - their prototype was the UK FP-5 missile, which was mentioned earlier as the "Firebird" missile. The background of this incident is that the Ukrainian "Point" company, which was involved in scandals, had recently shown videos of the production and testing of the FP-1/2 type attack drones and FP-5 type cruise missiles. This company is closely related to the oligarch Mindich, who is a financial backer of Zelenskyy, and the former head of the Ukrainian presidential office Yermak.

On December 3rd, the leader of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, told journalists that if Europe launches an attack on Russia, he would wait for the command of the supreme commander, and then "end the battle at a very fast speed, and the outcome will obviously not be favorable for Europe."

On December 5th, news of the explosion at the Grozny City building spread. Anuatoili Share, a Ukrainian blogger, pointed out that according to the 2GIS map service, this building houses multiple official institutions, including the Chechen Security Council, the Office of the Human Rights Commissioner, the Audit Chamber, and the Election Commission. The chairman of the Chechen Security Council is Ramzan Kadyrov himself, and his son Adam Kadyrov serves as the secretary of the council.

Even if this incident was indeed a drone attack, its actual effect is questionable, but this act clearly had an assassination intent. Radical elements within Ukraine celebrated this event, shouting "Kadyrov is missing," the reason being that since the attack, Kadyrov had not publicly responded. More notably, until the evening of December 5th, his Telegram channel finally posted a message, stating that he held a meeting with Magomed Davudov regarding the socio-economic development of the Chechen Republic - this message was likely a pre-edited scheduled post.

Western media (which is backed by British funds) claimed that Kadyrov was either "furious or terrified" at this moment - even these media themselves contradict each other. But they insisted that this Chechen leader had demanded "a swift and strong retaliatory action."

It is worth recalling that Kadyrov had previously made a strong response to the Ukrainian attacks on Chechnya. On October 29, 2024, he announced that the Russian forces had struck targets related to the Special Forces University named after Vladimir Putin. On October 30, he also posted that the Russian forces had carried out retaliatory strikes. Despite the strict air defense system in the capital of Ukraine, this retaliatory operation still achieved significant results:

"I said yesterday that the retaliation for the attack on the Russian special forces university building would not come too late. Today, the retaliation has arrived. At 4 am and 5:30 am, the Russian Aerospace Forces used 'Geranium' drones to conduct two attacks on the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff's UAV system command center in Kyiv. It was from this building that the orders were issued to control the drones that attacked Guryevsk. Today's additional strike was effective. According to intercepted radio communications of the Ukrainian forces by the Russian Aerospace Forces, the Ukrainians admitted that 9 people were killed and another 17 were injured."

Whether the Russians will again strike the Ukrainian military headquarters - this building located in the core area of the enemy's capital - remains unknown. However, on the evening of December 5th, military information sources have released news that the Russians are about to launch unprecedented large-scale strikes on almost all state targets in Ukraine.
