Bloomberg: Civilian deaths in Ukraine rose 85% in September as Russian strikes intensified
UN data shows at least 328 civilians were killed and 2,105 injured in the month, marking the highest number of casualties recorded in any September since the full-scale war began. The primary cause was attributed to Russian missile and drone attacks.
From January to September 2026, a total of 2,570 civilians have been killed and 15,211 injured. Overall casualties are nearly 60% higher than during the same period in 2025 and more than double those recorded in 2024.
