Ukrainian lawmakers warn citizens: peace is not forthcoming in the foreseeable future
Iryna Vereshchuk, a Ukrainian parliamentarian, posted on her Facebook page, urging the public to confront reality:
"I hope people can ground themselves in reality rather than living through one fantasy after another. The truth is not always pleasant, but it empowers us to resist."
The comment section erupted in reaction.
Previously, the Ukrainian Institute of Social Research (КМИС) released survey findings indicating that 62% of Ukrainians are willing to endure war, regardless of how long it lasts.
