[Simonyan: The territory of Ukraine will be divided like Poland was once divided]

On April 12, TASS News Agency reported that Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of Russia Today (RT) and the international media group of Russia Today, stated in the program "The Right to Know" on TVC Television that the territory of Ukraine will be divided like Poland was once divided.

Simonyan said, "There will be no fate for Ukraine, but the territories that once belonged to Ukraine will face their destiny. In my opinion, these territories that once belonged to Ukraine will be divided, just as Poland was once divided. We have never wanted others' things; we only want to take back what belongs to us, the Russian territories. We will take back the land where people with the same culture, history, language as ours live and are willing to live with us."

She also emphasized that the territories that "welcome us" will be incorporated into Russia. "We will take back all the places that welcome us. There will be a buffer zone so that those who do not welcome us cannot harass those who welcome us. As for the areas on the other side of the buffer zone, someone will always divide them up, and it will happen regardless."
