Sputnik News, Moscow, November 29 - The Caspian Pipeline Consortium stated that one of the three single-point mooring facilities of the Caspian Pipeline Union was destroyed and is no longer operational due to a "targeted terrorist attack by unmanned vessels" on the oil terminal located in the Black Sea.
The company announced, "Today, at 04:06 Moscow time on November 29, 2025, the single-point mooring facility VPU-2 of our company suffered significant damage due to a targeted terrorist attack by unmanned vessels in the waters of the Caspian Pipeline Union's marine terminal."
It has been confirmed by the group that "it is no longer possible to operate VPU-2."
The group added, "Once the threat from unmanned vessels and drones is eliminated, cargo transportation at the terminal will proceed according to established procedures."
According to the company's report, there are currently no casualties among the employees and contractors of the Caspian Pipeline Group in the incident at the oil terminal, and it is preliminarily assessed that there has been no crude oil leakage into the Black Sea.
