A nationwide telephone opinion survey conducted by Kyodo News on March 7th and 8th showed that 56.6% of respondents believe "it should not be approved" regarding the relaxation of rules for exporting defense equipment and, consequently, lethal weapons, exceeding the 36.9% who believe "it should be approved."
