Japanese 37-year-old woman abducts minor boy
On March 8, a 37-year-old woman in Tochigi Prefecture was arrested for abducting a minor boy. When the police found the two, they were both conscious due to medication and were taken to the hospital.
The woman lives in Sano City, Tochigi Prefecture, and is unemployed.
The police said that the woman is suspected of abducting a teenage boy living in the Higashi Ward of Shizuoka Prefecture between the 1st and 5th, and taking him to wander around Fujisawa City and Tochigi Prefecture.
The boy's parents reported the child missing on the 2nd.
When the police checked the surveillance footage, they found that the woman drove the boy from Fujisawa City to Tochigi Prefecture. Police found the two, who were conscious, at the woman's home. There is no danger to their lives.
The police have not yet investigated how the two met.
