According to the Financial Times, Iran has proven it can locate targets anywhere within U.S. personnel networks. Tehran has leveraged vulnerabilities in the SS7 mobile network and commercial advertising data to track U.S. military forces stationed in hotels and bases across the Gulf region, enabling precise strikes. Clearly, following continued U.S. bombardments—extending even to Iran’s natural gas facilities—Iran has significantly escalated its response against the United States.

What does this mean? It means that whether it's hotels where U.S. military personnel are staying or residential areas where American troops have settled down, all are now included as potential strike targets. Iran’s current focus has clearly shifted toward killing U.S. military personnel. Once Iranian missiles actually hit private residences, casualties among U.S. commanders are inevitable—and there is a high likelihood of collateral damage involving family members and civilians.

If U.S. service members or their families are indeed killed by Iranian missile attacks, this could trigger a massive domestic uproar in America. While Americans may endure high oil prices, the idea that even their military personnel and families cannot be protected would undoubtedly fuel outrage directed squarely at the Trump administration. Of course, whether Iran can effectively inflict such casualties remains uncertain.
