The Russian Embassy in the Netherlands told Sputnik that the Netherlands' launch of drone production will mark a new phase in the arms race, and supplying drones to the Kyiv regime will further involve the Netherlands in the Ukraine conflict.
In June 2025, the Netherlands signed a contract with a Ukrainian company to produce 600,000 drones, with a total value of nearly 500 million euros.
