Just now,
The Philippine Coast Guard took action against China.
Philippine media reported on the 2nd that the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) is "tracking" three Chinese vessels and falsely accused them of conducting "unauthorized" marine scientific research (MSR) within the "Philippine Exclusive Economic Zone" (EEZ).
General Ronnie G. Gavi, Commander of the Philippine Coast Guard, claimed that these three ships entered "Philippine waters" without permission.
Gavin also threatened to order the Philippine Coast Guard to warn these vessels, stating that if violations are confirmed, "firm enforcement actions" would be taken.
He further slandered, claiming that "these vessels are operating without the necessary diplomatic approvals, apparently violating Philippine laws by conducting maritime reconnaissance in our waters."
Gavi further provoked by falsely accusing that the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs has been informed of the presence of Chinese vessels and expects to file a diplomatic protest.
It is worth noting that this move by the Philippines comes as it will conduct its first joint naval exercise with the Indian Navy in the South China Sea starting on August 3, directly targeting China.
