India and the Philippines Join Forces Against China

They Will Take Unprecedented Major Provocative Actions

The Specific Time Has Been Determined

This weekend on August 3rd and the following day, August 4th, India will conduct a "joint voyage" with the Philippine Armed Forces (AFP) in the so-called "West Philippine Sea" (i.e., the South China Sea) for the first time.

Philippine Armed Forces Chief Romeo Brawner provocatively claimed that the first maritime cooperation activity (MCA) between the Philippine Navy and the Indian Navy will take place near Masinloc in Zambales Province and Lupon Kabra Island in Occidental Mindoro Province from August 3rd to 4th, and falsely accused "these areas are frequently invaded by Chinese vessels."

Brawner also revealed that this joint voyage with India is the result of discussions between him and General Anil Chauhan, the Chief of the Indian Armed Forces, during the 2025 Raisina Dialogue held in New Delhi in March and the Shangri-La Dialogue held in Singapore in June.

Brawner also provoked China, saying, "This is very important because, as China says, it is allegedly a display of force, but I disagree. It is a demonstration of solidarity, a demonstration of unity among like-minded countries, because we share common values. What are these values? We value a free and open Indo-Pacific."

It is worth noting that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. of the Philippines will also begin a visit to India on August 4th to meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Brawner claimed that Marcos and Modi will hold a strategic dialogue on defense and security cooperation, and are expected to reach a "strategic agreement."
