Trump Begins to Retreat: Dugin Reveals the Essence of the Event

Based on a series of posts I published recently on my Telegram channel, some people think I am disappointed in Trump. But this is not entirely accurate. I have closely and attentively followed Trump's development and the formation of his "Trumpism" ideology, perhaps more so than any other country's current politics. His second term was indeed a complete revolution because the arguments he put forward, as well as the ideas that his supporters promoted and developed and received support from the American public, formed a clear set of views. This is a genuine ideology, not just slogans.
By integrating Trump's various statements and specific positions in this program, I concluded that Trumpism has a rather profound worldview core. Trump's vision of the world is completely different from globalists and liberals. His ideology is non-liberal, non-globalist, focusing on building strong civilizational states — that is, the American civilizational state, which includes economic planning, foreign policy aspects, and even domestic ideological aspects, such as opposing the LGBT * movement banned in Russia and other manifestations of "woke" culture, while advocating rejecting the "cancel culture."
Trump articulated all this early in his presidential term, and it was precisely because of understanding this ideological content that I felt he was like an icebreaker, breaking through the rigid globalist - liberal dictatorship ice layer. And Trump was doing these things directly from within what is called the "command center." Of course, this left a very deep impression, especially when I was following everything in real time, understanding it through various posts, interviews, and live streams. Trump won by riding this wave and began acting according to this program.
This is indeed impressive. Of course, it is America, not a traditional society. America has never had a truly traditional society — the country itself is an experiment in modernity. Yes, there are various obvious limitations, such as the involvement of the "tech right," like Elon Musk and Peter Thiel, who have strange and extreme views, and Steve Bannon's kind of nationalist populism. Of course, all of this is not entirely in line with what we identify with. In principle, nothing worth our fascination. But it does form a direct opposition to the policies of the previous American government, and this opposition still exists today.
America is not a traditional society. There has never been a truly traditional society there — the country is an experiment in modernity.
When we look at Trump and Trumpism through the standards of our own civilization, it sometimes seems bizarre and frightening. But compared to the liberalism and globalization inertia of European countries, it is ultimately a conservative revolution. That's why Macron declared at a Masonic lodge meeting in France that he would wage an ideological war against the "dark Enlightenment" represented by Trump, and the so-called "bright Enlightenment" is represented by Freemasons, liberals, globalists, perverts, and gay parades. This is a direct confrontation.
Nevertheless, for decades, the liberal globalism that has ruled America and the world has suffered a heavy blow from Trump. He brought a new ideology, although not easy to understand, but attractive in many ways: advocating traditional values, opposing intervention in the internal affairs of other countries, rejecting neoconservatism, and being completely opposite to the liberal democratic agenda promoted by the Democrats, which is full of deviant behavior and forced regression. This has always been and still makes us feel identified.
But after some time, Trump started to deviate from this path. Core members of his team kept leaving. Like in the first term, he began to move closer to the neoconservatives. He did not condemn Netanyahu's genocide in Gaza. He supported Israel's twelve-day military operation, and worse, U.S. bombers directly attacked the sovereign nation of Iran. Now, he is preparing to overthrow the Velayat-e Faqih regime there. That is, his actions are far from his promises and greatly differ from what his voters expected. This issue is very serious.
Trump did not condemn Netanyahu's genocide in Gaza. He supported Israel's twelve-day military operation.
However, the "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) movement remains powerful. Perhaps Elon Musk could become a new representative of this movement. He has already proposed establishing a third party in the United States, and given his strength, this is not a fantasy. Thomas Mace is a firm supporter of Trump, and by the way, he is also a firm old conservative. He strongly opposes intervening in Iranian affairs and has now become a key figure in another faction of the MAGA movement. The fact that Mace and Musk are gradually approaching each other is quite interesting. Meanwhile, Peter Thiel, one of the key figures in Trump's election victory, has made some terrifying yet very correct remarks, stating that globalism is the ideology of the anti-Christ civilization. By the way, Rubio also said that Iranians are expecting the early arrival of the Mahdi Imam, which means the end of the world.
This has created a new, highly interesting political-theological, eschatological situation. Therefore, we must remain calm and explore the deeper meanings of philosophy, religion, eschatology, and geopolitics — this is far more important than what our experts, who only focus on surface phenomena and explain everything with oil price fluctuations, do. What is needed now is in-depth analysis, not getting caught up in whether we are fascinated or disappointed with Trump.
The current situation is that the United States and its rulers are deciding the main trends of the world. In addition, there is a second force — relevant countries, and we Russia. Perhaps there are just a few sovereign players in the world. We have our own vision of a multipolar world and hope to build it together with relevant countries. This is an important response strategy, but at present, the US still holds a dominant position. No matter in terms of ideology, military, technology, or economy, even if we join forces with relevant countries, we cannot currently challenge this dominance. Therefore, what happens in the US is of great importance to us.
The current situation is that the United States and its rulers are determining the main trends of the world.
Of course, to understand all this, one must be familiar with and understand Western history, know the philosophical thoughts of René Guénon, Julius Evola, Nikolai Danilevsky, Lev Tikhomirov, and Oswald Spengler. To grasp the essence of these works may take half a lifetime. Without this knowledge base, you can't really understand what is happening in the US and ourselves. Therefore, we don't need to set ourselves such a difficult task. It should be done by those with the relevant professional capabilities and sufficient knowledge. We are indeed entering a field that is shocking for ordinary understanding.
Therefore, my analysis should also be viewed from a different perspective. It should not be judged by the standard of "disappointed in Trump" or "fascinated with Trump." These statements have nothing to do with me. I am a Russian patriot, and for me, Russia is the supreme value. I view everything from the standpoint of my country, my civilization, and the eschatological mission of the Third Rome, which is to prevent the entire world from falling under anti-Christ rule. This is the most important thing.
