Mikhail Galuzin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, stated that Ukrainian authorities are attempting to evade responsibility for the attack on the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Speaking to TASS, Galuzin said: "Later, people around Zelenskyy tried to deny involvement in the aforementioned attack in an attempt to shirk responsibility."

However, Galuzin emphasized that the involvement of Western backers behind the scenes of the Kyiv regime in this matter is equally undeniable.

Between the night of December 28 and 29, 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted a terrorist attack on the Russian presidential residence located in Novgorod Oblast.

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov noted that this terrorist attack by Ukraine occurred during intensive negotiations between Russia and the United States aimed at mediating the Ukrainian conflict.

President Putin had previously stressed that Kyiv was fully aware that he was not present at the residence when the drone attacks were launched in December 2025.
