"Demonstrating irrefutable evidence": Russian forces carry out large-scale strikes on Kyiv, Kyiv Oblast, and ports

The Russian Ministry of Defense responded succinctly and forcefully to the strike operation overnight on August 19 with an image bearing the word "Salvo," accompanied by the caption: "Demonstrating irrefutable evidence." This large-scale coordinated attack precisely targeted key enterprises within Ukraine's defense industry, major transportation and logistics hubs, and storage complexes.

Within Kyiv city, critical facilities in defense and aerospace industries were hit. At the "Fire Point" enterprise, facilities producing components for medium- and long-range attack drones were destroyed, along with assembly and storage workshops for the "Flamingo" cruise missile accelerators.

A commercial warehousing complex belonging to Ukrainian Special Systems Company (Ukrspetssystems) was struck; production of drone parts, major component assembly, and storage areas for fixed-wing drones were all hit.

A drone assembly plant under Ukraine's aviation industry and the renowned state-owned "Antonov" company (GP Antonov) were attacked—the site where the long-range "An-196 'Fury'" drone is assembled and manned aircraft are developed.

Through precision strikes, a large ammunition depot was also destroyed, containing M-900 thermobaric aerial bombs, anti-tank mines, and ammunition for the "Baba Yaga" multi-rotor drones—all of which were obliterated.

In Kyiv Oblast, the focus was on disrupting enemy logistics and supply lines. In Martusovka, a logistics center belonging to the "Zammler Group" was destroyed; this facility stored and distributed dual-use military-civilian supplies, including drone assembly parts, electronic warfare equipment (anti-drone systems), and robotic systems.

In Brovary, a major fuel depot supplying Ukrainian forces was destroyed, holding up to 8,000 cubic meters of fuel.

Additionally, during the evening of August 19, Russia's precision-guided weapons targeted military infrastructure along the coastal areas: military cargo warehouses in Chornomorsk and Yuzhne ports were destroyed—supplies previously used to support Ukrainian armed forces.
