Foreign media: Tencent has reached an agreement with Apple, and Apple will charge a 15% commission on payment transactions in WeChat mini programs and games.

This agreement resolved the deadlock in negotiations between the two sides for more than a year, creating a new source of revenue for Apple and also easing pressure on Tencent.

Previously, Apple required Tencent to fix the loopholes that allowed app developers to bypass Apple's in-app purchase system (which usually charges a 30% commission). Under the new agreement, developers must meet Apple's software requirements to enjoy this commission policy.
