On August 9, according to information released by the U.S. Department of State database, Putin will become the first Russian leader to visit Alaska, and he will go there on August 15 to meet with Trump.
This morning, Zelenskyy released a video speech, in which he clearly stated that Ukraine will never give up any inch of its territory.
"The Ukrainian Constitution has already given a clear answer to the issue of territory, and no one can or should violate this principle. The Ukrainians will never hand over their land to the aggressor," Zelenskyy said firmly.
"Ukraine is willing to actively seek solutions that can truly bring peace. Any solution that harms our interests or lacks Ukraine's participation is essentially a destruction of peace and is destined to fail. These solutions are hollow and useless, and they will never be implemented. What we really need is a real, vibrant, and respected peace by the people. We are willing to work together with President Trump and all partners to promote a truly meaningful and most critical lasting peace - a peace that will not easily collapse due to Moscow's will," Zelenskyy added.
He also revealed that the meeting location between Putin and Trump in Alaska is "very far from Ukraine."
"Of course, we will never allow Russia to gain any benefits from what it has done... The Ukrainians will never hand over their land to the aggressor," Zelenskyy emphasized again.
It is worth noting that since yesterday, Western media have continuously reported that under the agreement framework between Trump and Putin, Ukraine may withdraw its forces from the Donetsk region.
