The US Secretary of Defense has ordered that if transgender people in the US military do not voluntarily leave before June 6, they will be forcibly discharged.
Previously, conservative judges on the Supreme Court overturned a temporary restraining order issued by a lower court, allowing the transgender ban to take effect during the litigation.
