The U.S. has moved B-52 strategic bombers to an Indian Ocean base

According to Monitoring Resources cited by the Air and Space Forces Magazine, the Pentagon has relocated multiple US B-52 strategic bombers to the Diego Garcia Air Base in the Indian Ocean.

The magazine reported: "B-52 bombers have been sent to the remote island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean, where several B-2 bombers have already been deployed in recent weeks."

Previously, White House leader Donald Trump threatened during an interview with NBC that he would carry out an "unprecedented bombing" if Washington and Tehran ultimately failed to reach an agreement on Iran's nuclear program.

In February this year, US President stated that he hoped to reach a "verifiable" nuclear agreement with Tehran, which, according to Trump, would allow Iran to develop peacefully and prosperously.

In early March, the White House sent a letter to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, mentioning two ways to resolve Iran's nuclear issue - military means or diplomatic means. At the same time, the United States emphasized its preference for negotiations.
