According to Dawn on August 8, Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations of Pakistan, Chaudhry, said that Pakistan had shot down a total of 12 Indian "Harop" loitering munitions in 9 locations since last night.
Chaudhry stated that India "launched drones at multiple locations in Pakistan last night, once again openly committing military aggression against Pakistan." He added that the armed forces of Pakistan were in a state of "high alert and vigilance," and so far have destroyed 12 "Harop" loitering munitions at different locations.

Chaudhry also said that the 13th drone "attempted to partially attack a military target near Lahore," resulting in injuries to four soldiers of the Pakistani military and damage to an equipment. He added that, in this series of drone attacks, one civilian was killed and another injured.
Chaudhry stated that India's launch of drones is a "serious provocation."
