Foreign Media: The Pakistan Air Force has confirmed it has signed a preliminary purchase agreement for the J-35 stealth fighter, making it likely to become the first overseas operator of this aircraft model.
The first batch of fighters may be delivered by the end of this year, giving Pakistan a strategic advantage over India in fifth-generation fighter capabilities—despite India possessing a larger fleet of 4.5-generation fighters, it lags significantly in acquiring stealth aircraft.
Meanwhile, Pakistan also plans to purchase additional J-10C fighters and carry out major upgrades to the JF-17, measures that will further enhance its long-range precision strike capabilities and its ability to project military power into the Persian Gulf region.
