Zandanshatar met with a delegation led by the Chairman of the Board of "Gazprom" (Russian Gas Industry Corporation), A. B. Miller, during the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok on September 5th.

In the meeting, A. B. Miller pointed out that during the regular summit of the heads of state of Russia, Mongolia and China held in Beijing, the three countries have reached an agreement on the project of building a natural gas pipeline through Mongolia's territory and supplying Russian natural gas to China.

Prime Minister G. Zandanshatar stated that since all parties have reached a consensus on the major project of building a natural gas pipeline through Mongolia's territory and supplying Russian natural gas to China, the Mongolian government will provide comprehensive support for the implementation of this project.

During the talks, the Mongolian government signed a Memorandum of Understanding with "Gazprom" on the cooperation in implementing the Ulaanbaatar gas supply project.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, S. Amarzul, and the Vice Chairman of "Gazprom" and Director of the Management Committee, V. A. Markelov, signed the memorandum on behalf of both sides.
