Mongolian News Agency, Ulaanbaatar, September 3 - The "Erdenshatawng Tolaikai" Company successfully traded 32,000 tons of coal through the Mongolian Stock Exchange on the 2nd of this month, with a trading price of 46.20 dollars. Two participants took part in this transaction, and a total of 32,000 tons of thermal coal were traded under the condition of being transported to the Ganqimadu port in China.
In the first half of this year, the company sold 1.3 million tons of coal through 20 online transactions, generating revenue of 2.5 trillion tugriks. Among them, the net profit was 1.1 trillion tugriks, and it paid 74.22 billion tugriks in taxes to the state budget, contributing to economic growth and foreign exchange reserves. In the same first half of the year, the company mined 13.8 million tons of coal, and exported 10.2 million tons of coal.
Since February 2023, the "Erdenshatawng Tolaikai" Company has only conducted transactions through the Mongolian Stock Exchange in an open and transparent manner.
