Russian State News Agency, Moscow, November 21 - Russian President Putin stated that during discussions on resolving the Ukraine crisis, the United States had asked Russia to make certain compromises.

Putin said during a meeting with members of the Russian Federation Security Council via video conference: "In the initial discussions, the U.S. side asked us to make some compromises, as they said, showing flexibility."

Putin pointed out: "The main goal of the Alaska meeting was, during the talks in Anchorage, to confirm that although there were some difficult issues and challenges, we still agreed with these proposals and were willing to show flexibility."
