Zelenskyy said today that Ukraine is in "one of the most difficult moments in the country's history."

Regarding Trump's "28-point" peace framework, Zelenskyy said in his regular video address: "The pressure on Ukraine has reached its peak now. Ukraine may face a very difficult choice: either lose its dignity, or risk losing key partners, or accept those 28 tough demands, or face an unusually harsh winter."

"The most difficult and also the most dangerous is a future without freedom, without dignity, without justice, and having to believe in a future painted by someone who has attacked us twice before."

Zelenskyy said that Ukraine will "calmly and quickly" advance the negotiations to end the war with the United States and its partners.

Zelenskyy also said: "I will present arguments, persuade, and propose alternatives, but we will never give the enemy any excuse for them to say that Ukraine does not want peace, is sabotaging the process, or is unwilling to take the diplomatic route."

After details of Trump's plan were released, several European leaders publicly expressed support for Ukraine, promising to continue standing by Kyiv and insisting that Ukraine's fate cannot be decided without its participation. (Trans)
