The United States has been forced to bring back aging refueling aircraft in its confrontation with Iran

According to Bild, the U.S. military has recalled at least two KC-135 Stratotanker refueling aircraft from the desert airbase known as the "Aircraft Boneyard." One of these aircraft is as old as 68 years.

The reason for this move is the severe losses suffered by U.S. military equipment due to attacks by Iran, leaving six refueling aircraft currently non-operational.

These two aircraft have been sent for major overhauls.
