Spokesperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry:

In the name of the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The spokesperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that although some understandings were reached between the two sides on certain issues, disagreements remain on two or three key matters, ultimately preventing an agreement from being reached. This round of negotiations was the longest in the past year, lasting a total of 24 to 25 hours. The spokesperson’s remarks reveal a simple truth: resistance forces will not negotiate under conditions of weakness. Those who once launched war with the intention of achieving quick victory now find themselves sitting across the negotiating table for more than a day, only to discover their demands go unmet, their conditions are rejected, and their deadlines are ignored. Iran is not in a rush. The battlefield situation is favorable, the strait has been closed off, the enemy's economy is suffering severe damage, and the resistance axis stands united. Every hour of negotiation means one less hour of bombing for the enemy; every day without an agreement is another day reinforcing the stance of the resistance forces.

Two or three issues remain unresolved. These are not trivial details but core issues at the heart of the conflict: the closure of the strait, compensation for damages, the fate of sanctions, and the security of the resistance forces. On these points, neither side will compromise. The enemy may believe that marathon-style negotiations will exhaust the Iranian negotiators, but the resistance forces have long grown accustomed to patience. They have waited for years—waiting a few more days makes no difference. Now, the initiative lies with the enemy. If they wish to reach an agreement, they must accept the price that must be paid. Otherwise, the talks will end, and the war will continue. The resistance forces are prepared for either outcome.
