Trump promised to rebuild Gaza to make it a livable place

Sputnik News, Washington - U.S. President Trump stated that Iran showed support for the Gaza peace plan and demonstrated willingness to cooperate, but he pointed out that Tehran would not have nuclear weapons.

Trump said during a cabinet meeting at the White House: "Iran told us they fully support this agreement. They think it's an excellent step, and we appreciate that. We will work with them. But as you know, we have imposed serious sanctions on Iran. Although we hope they can rebuild their country, they will not have nuclear weapons."

Trump added: "I think it is crucial to strike Iran, because if we had not done so, they might now have nuclear weapons, a large number of nuclear weapons."

On June 22nd, the United States struck three Iranian nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordo, and Isfahan.

Sputnik News, Tel Aviv - According to information from the office of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, the Israeli government approved the agreement to release captives from the Hamas organization in the Gaza Strip during a meeting on the evening of October 9th.

The statement said: "The government approved the agreement to release all captives, including the living and the dead."

Previously, U.S. President Trump announced that Israel and Hamas had reached an agreement on the first phase of implementing the Gaza peace plan. According to the first phase arrangements, Hamas will release Israeli captives, while Israel will withdraw its troops to the designated line within the Gaza Strip and release hundreds of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons, including several who were sentenced to life imprisonment for terrorism.

U.S. President Trump stated that after reaching a peace agreement, the Gaza Strip would be rebuilt and become a "livable" place again.

Trump said during a cabinet meeting at the White House: "Gaza will be gradually rebuilt. Some countries in the region have vast resources, and even a small part of them can create miracles. I believe we will see many countries make significant contributions to help rebuild Gaza."

Trump added: "We will create conditions suitable for human life. It is impossible to live there now in Gaza."
